£22 Million funding raised for our clients and ISO9001 re-certification
With news of a number of funding successes already in 2015, Charity Fundraising Ltd has flown past another Million marker to total £22 Million of funds raised for our clients!
So far this year, we have achieved funding for charity clients from a range of sources, including: Two local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs); a Local Authority in London; a range of Trusts; and the European Union. We carefully monitor all fundraising activity, which enables our consultants to build up an ever-increasing knowledge of funding behaviour and the preferences of grant-makers. This in-house tracking has also fed into our work with the British Assessment Bureau to achieve and maintain ISO9001 certification.
ISO9001 is a quality standard that demands excellent quality management. We achieved ISO9001 certification at the start of 2014 and we had our annual surveillance visit at the start of 2015. We are thrilled with the external auditor’s recent report, which cites no non-conformances and praises the processes we have continued to develop to ensure that we are offering excellent value to our clients.
“The way in which the organisation controls the clients’ records, grants received and funders is exceptional. Client records are well maintained, with contracts in place and all client records controlled through a very impressive system. This gives a full overview of what has been granted, which when looking at the figures is excellent and shows the good work the organisation does. This again was evident during the audit where they had just been notified of 2 new awards for clients totalling £78,000.”
Quality management is becoming increasingly relevant to many charities, with many public sector commissioners and voluntary sector funders seeking assurance that certain standards are in place. As with much of our work, we want to lead by example and ‘practice what we preach’ by promoting good quality management to our clients.
