Based in Islington, Highbury Roundhouse is a youth and community centre which delivers a broad spectrum of activities and services for children, young people, working age adults and older people alike.
In 2013, the building was earmarked for demolition due to being served a dangerous structures notice. The local community were devastated and Highbury Roundhouse developed plans to rebuild the centre on the same site.
This fantastic charity initially engaged Charity Fundraising Ltd to undertake prospect research and develop the necessary funding applications to secure the income needed. We supported Highbury Roundhouse to undertake consultation and needs analysis, develop their pitch and supported them with funding applications to bodies such as The National Lottery Fund, Clothworkers Foundation, Garfield Weston and others. Additional mentoring, guidance and bid review services were carried out to help them secure a large grant from Sport England.
